I love this place. My dog was groomed my Miguel today and he was patient and gentle with her. The entire staff is kind. I have taken my pet there twice and I absolutely love the way she looks and smells when she is returned.
Thank you José Miguel and company, you did a beautiful job! My little skittish, anxious little Boot has never been more handsome and fluffy!!
Ps. What a fun ambience for the pups too! I'm excited to bring him back, and will happy recommend this place to anyone i know!!
Rhonda saw my 6 month old miniature schnauzer for the first time. He had only been able to get puppy trims at PetSmart because he was afraid of the clippers. She took her time with him and he was able to get his first official big boy haircut. He had a really good experience there. I would highly recommend this place. Definitely going back.
I’ve been bringing my baby Chloe to Miguel at A Fur Adair and I couldn’t be happier with her cut. Miguel is the best, he listens to my requests and truly cares about customer satisfaction as well as ensuring that Chloe feels comfortable and happy. I love that he is in contact with me constantly when I ask him to try something new. You won’t find a groomer who cares more about his clients than Miguel.
Oh my goodness! What a wonderful experience. Our pomeranian has a big personality. They took such great care of him!! He came out so happy and clean!! Definitely check this place out!!
????????????I have two beautiful babies a German Shepherd and a pitbull. I had went to a few groomers through my years of having my babies, they have been turned away by PetSmart, Petco, and a few other local groomers.
I've been told they are too rowdy, my pitbull will not hold still for anything, and my German Shepherd is very nippy and mean. One of my best friends that brought her goldendoodle puppy here recommended a groomer named Val.
After booking one session with both my babies she made me feel that my dogs are as amazing as I know they are. She even was able to get some kisses from my german shepherd, when she is vary picky on her friends.
I've gone here three times now and every time Val has done an amazing work. Even has got to the point when other groomers are scared of my dogs, yet she will hug them without any hesitation. It is very nice to be able to see a groomer that is not scared of them because of what they have done or acted like in the past, and it's even nicer knowing that they are being treated the way I would have treated them and not as beasts.
Thank you Val and hope the best in your grooming career, May every dog and pet parent feel as welcomed as you've made me and my babies feel. ????????????
We have been coming here for the last two years and today was our last day! We picked up both of our cockapoos and their nails had been grinded too short and on the sides of the nail (which was different than any other visit over the last 2 years). Our one cockapoo was licking and lifting her paw and won’t stop shaking her head as if she has water trapped in ear.
When we called the salon and spoke to the owner about the length of the nails he was defensive, barely listened to what we were saying before stating that the nails were okay and told us “that the dogs nails weren’t bleeding so she is fine”. The fact that she is licking her paws, avoiding putting pressure on them, and acting extremely anxious and subdued didn’t mean anything if there was no blood. Given the lack of concern about our dogs’ overall well being and and the owners overall attitude I can only imagine the type of toxic/abusive environment he creates while grooming others animals.
We have noticed a significant decline in the quality of service and attitudes over the past few months (as well as an increase in price) but since it was a convenient location and our dogs’ seemed okay following visits we hadn’t searched for a new groomer. That will no longer be the case as the owner clearly doesn’t care about the animals in his care. This is not a safe place to take your
animals and it’s not worth risking them developing negative associations or fear of going to the groomer.
They cut everything. I came to get my dog and his tail and ears were completely cut off. They 100% messed him up. They asked do what we did last time and I said yes because they did ok last time just trimming the body and leaving the ears and tail. This time they shaved him bald. If you don’t speak Spanish you may want to bring someone with you that can so you can be very clear on what you want. Then it still might be a crapshoot.
